Bible Study

good morning from my  very soggy neck of the woods.           after three and three quarters of an inch of rain over the last 36 to 48 hours, we finally have dry sky for a little bit, and a touch of sunshine.        it hasn't risen high enough to reach my yard yet, but it's trying really hard.         hahaha        I can't remember if I had mentioned cleaning out the attic the other day.         well, since it was rainy yesterday, we started cleaning up about 35  to 40 years worth of paper.        hubby was going thru it and I was shredding.        after shredding bags and bags, I actually burned the shredder up.         hahaha           I had gotten my rhythm and it was more than our old shredder could handle.         so, we have a new coming sometime monday and then I can get back to my shredding.         I'm  a master shredder and I don't want to slow down any at all.         so hurry up and get here, new shredder!!!          hahaha          please don't be a hoarder like we were.           get rid of it, shred it, before you're tempted to put it in the attic.        keep anything that's important.         label envelopes on the outside with the date and what it is.        that will help a lot at the end of the year when you're determining what to keep.          just don't be tempted to keep everything that's not necessary.         make cleaning up later in life easy on yourselves.           learn from our mistakes and do as I say, not as we done.         hahaha

giggle for the day:

Q - Why was the broom late for work?

A - It over-swept.

😂😂😂😂

it must have been very sweepy.   hahahaha

------------------------------------

picking up at Isaiah 27,        are you ready for ultimate victory?        well, here it is, God is victorious over all evil and wickedness!!!        God will gather His people, all His people from every nation together!!!

Isaiah 28,       God will judge pride and drunkenness and sensuality.         make no mistake all this will get judged by the One Righteous Judge.         they won't even realize they are being judged till it's too late.         we live in a day and age of pride, bars on every street corner and the back of every restaurant and people doing all kinds of filthy acts because they can and they expect the rest of the world to approve their behavior.          God will judge it all.

Isaiah 29,        hypocrisy and spiritual blindness in the religious circles will be exposed and judged.        we need to continue to seek after the heart of God in all that we do, so that we won't be hypocritical and blind to the ways of God.         how else will we know the heart of God if we don't chase after and seek His heart!?!?         sometimes we can lost in the "things to do" that we totally miss God in the midst, wanting to guide us.

Isaiah 30,          God can be trusted to judge those continue to sin and live in evil and wicked way.        He can also be trusted to bless those who active seek to serve Him.        the choice is ours.

Isaiah 31,            do we trust God or do we trust man?         how many times has God been caught in a lie?          absolutely ZERO!!!          how many times has man been caught in a lie?          absolutely every time he or we open our mouths.           so who do we trust?          if you find yourself having a difficult time answering that question, then maybe you need to seek after the heart God harder than ever, He will make Himself known to you!!

Isaiah 32,         this is showing us a time of peace and prosperity and a time when the ignorant will be enlightened and the wicked will be judged as to their true nature.         a time when the foolish will no longer be called wise and noble and the thief will no longer be looked to.        wow, what a day that will be!!!!         most of the countries on this globe are ruled and run by fools and thieves.

Isaiah 33,          God will judge His enemies and that will result in safety, prosperity and peace for His people!!           what a day that will be!!!!!!          God will be judge, law giver and King!!!!

next time we will pick up with Isaiah 34.

----------------------------

well, I guess that's about it for now.          I hope to have pictures of something sometime soon.        we've just been busy and I haven't done anything picture worthy.         I hope and pray the we keep seeking after the heart of God.      I think the book Isaiah shows us why that's so important.         we have an eternal destiny, and the way we live our lives today will determine that destiny.        are we seeking after the heart of God or are seeking fulfilment in sinful pleasures, evil and wicked behavior?       our destiny will depend on the answer to that question.        blessings of quietness and confidence be ours today.

hugs and love, patty
