good morning my beautiful friends. how blessed are we today to wake up and open our eyes this morning. we went for out walk yesterday morning and I was thrilled to be able to walk pain free with my back and I couldn't keep from crying just a little bit. I praise God for that!!!! I don't know what else I can do, but I did ask God to show me what I can do as far as furthering our diet to be healthier. I'll start cooking even more foods from scratch if necessary. I'd say out diet is between 70% and 80% clean, as far as how we eat. 20% to 30% still to go, at getting processed junk foods and foods that aren't even real food to begin with out of our diets. every bite that's healthier will be better for both myself and my husband. getting older, it's really important to try to eat healthier. but I would love to make the suggestion that even if you're young or younger, start now, with clean eating. start now to get your diet cleaned up and eat real food. if it grows in a garden, eat it. if it's made in a factory plant, leave it alone. if has ingredients in that you can't pronounce or that are man made, leave it alone. if it has more than 5 or 6 real ingredients, probably leave it alone too. if it has a lot of sugar, bleached flour, white pasta, anything that is so processed you have no idea what it is, leave it alone. I could go on and on, but this is more for me than it is for anyone else. we got more shredding done today. I think out of about 45 years worth of shredding to do, we finally have about 14 years behind us. hahahaha my husband said a little while ago that in our next life we're not gonna do this. I politely told him it wasn't my idea to do it in this life. hahaha yeah, he laughed because he knew it was idea to save every scrap of stuff that wasn't necessary. I can see saving a year or two, but then getting rid of it. it finally found it's home in the attic in about 10, 30 gallon totes!!! he had said that the people that get house after we die can clean it out. I said what if you die before I do, I'll be stuck with having to clean it myself and there's no way I can do that. I'd have to hire it to be done and I definitely don't have the money for that. so he finally decided while we're still in reasonably good health to get it done. yay, it's better late than never, but it would have been better about 20 years ago and then keep the mess cleaned out to a minimum. oh well, we've had some good laughs over it. and I'm sure we will have more laughs before we're done with it. then I have all the Christmas boxes to go thru. some will go to the local ministry in town. when this is all said and done, I'll have between 16 and 20 totes. I may start gardening in them. hahaha

picking up in Isaiah Chapter 49, this chapter is telling us about someone coming for all the nations on the earth, not just Israel but every nation, and that someone is Jesus Christ. He will bring salvation and restoration to anyone who wants to receive it from Him. He, Himself will be rejected and will suffer on our behalf just so we can have salvation and restoration. despite it all, He will glorify His Father God, just so we can be in right relationship with Him. praise God!!!!
Isaiah 50, this chapter tells us to trust ultimately in God, in all things, in the face of troubles and trying times instead of relying on oneself. we can only cause more troubles, but God can help. He will help us and redeem us, even we we seem far from Him. Jesus is a light to all nations and the only source of salvation. there is no salvation without Jesus Christ.
Isaiah 51, again we're seeing to trust in God and remember His faithfulness to Abraham and Sarah. trust in the promises of God even though they may see a far way off from us. trust God. if we can remember His past faithfulness in our own lives, then we can know that He will help us in the future. God is able!!!! even when we aren't, He is able!!! this should give us courage and hope to keep trusting in Him.
Isaiah 52, we should proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ everywhere we go!!!!! God has power to deliver His people. we are called to repentance!!! we will be saved without money, no price to be paid, because Jesus Christ has paid that price. praise God for salvation thru the shed blood of Jesus Christ!!!
next time we'll pick up with Isaiah 53.

well, I guess this is where we will call it a morning. I hope and pray that we'll all have a great day today and that we will seek after the heart of God in all things that we do. seeking after God's heart is the most important thing we'll ever do in the life. passing that desire down to the next generation is so very important. real worship and praise of God is so important. we have watered down everything pertaining to God, Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit to the point that most people think it's all a joke. well, it's not a joke when our eternity depends on what we do, who we worship, who we put our faith and trust in. we serve a Holy God and He deserves to be treated as such. we need to have reverent fear and awe for the God we serve. the only way we can come into the presence of our Holy God is thru the shed blood of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. that's it, there's no other way. don't let anyone fool you into believing there are many ways, there isn't!!! that's a lie right from the pits of hell. seek after the heart of God and find out for yourself. blessings of truth and perseverance be ours today.
hugs and love, patty
