Bible Study and shredding

good morning  y'all!!        I hope and pray that y'all had a great day yesterday.        I hadn't mentioned anything about it, but I had to to go the dr because of my back pain.         I got a shot and a steroid pack and it's feeling much better.        I have this flare up every once in a while and the weather over the weekend caused a lot of pain for me overall, but it intensified in my back.         so I'm happy it's better and hope it continues to get better.       when I got up this morning, I felt like a completely different person to what I had felt like over the past month.        I couldn't help but praise God and cry a whole lot while I walking this morning.          I know that God is with me in this and that He is going to help me in this situation.         I don't know what taking care of my back and knee is going to look like this season, but I pray that God gives me knowledge and wisdom as to what to do get my body better.        it's not getting any younger.           well, I don't know what's on our agenda today, but with God's help, it will be a fantastic day.       when I got up yesterday morning it was 26 degrees, it was 37 degrees this morning!!!         I'm over the below freezing temps.        hahaha          but who knows, we  may  have  more  snow  before  the season is over.         I'm really saddened and heart broken over all the deaths from the storms that swept across this country over the weekend.       I just pray for them all and pray that God will comfort them as only He can.        I'll be happy when the weather calms down and we don't have to worry about tornadoes.         I know everyone else will too.          amidst everything else, the shredding continues.         we've got 6 years worth of papers and junk shredded.         one year at a time, we'll get it done.         take my word on this, do not be a hoarder.          do as I say, not as I did.        hahahaha

picking up at Isaiah 45,        once again, God is showing us just how powerless idols are!!!!!        and that the only God worthy to be worshiped is the One True God!!!          God has a plan for redemption and salvation, not just in the here and now, but also in eternity.        the plan is Jesus Christ!!!!        salvation is for all nations, not just Israel.         God is the only true God and the creator of everything!!!

Isaiah 46,            God fulfills all His promises, and idols can't do that!!!          God knows every plan, idea and thought that has been had and His plan will be carried out!!          God will bring deliverance to His people!!!          Praise God for that!!!!          we need to listen to god's word and believe them.

Isaiah 47,          we see here that pride, cruelty, sorcery, belief in it's own power and other sins will always be downfall of nations.          sorcery and astrology have been used down thru the centuries and people still look to them today.        that is a sin and that will play a big part in the downfall of any country.

Isaiah 48,         there is no peace for the wicked, say God.         God warns them once again to turn from their wicked ways and to rely on Him.          when they do that, God will restore them to their land.       they need to repent and trust God, just like we too, need to repent and trust God.

tomorrow we pick back up in Isaiah 49.

well, I guess we'll call it short and sweet today.        I pray that we all have a great day today.         I pray that we will continue to seek after the heart of God in all we do and say.        I pray that the people we come in contact today will be blessed by our behavior towards them.       just know that we all are loved much more than we deserve, by a righteous and just God.       may we all know and feel His presence today in out lives.         blessings of peace and joy be ours today.

hugs and love, patty
